The North – Hidden Behind the Darkness is an ongoing project with collaborators Titta Court and Eeva-Maria Mutka that grew out a desire to visit and revisit ideas about the North. Over the past 10 years Gaby, Titta and Eeva-Maria have travelled to the polar communities of Utsjoki, Finland, Iqaluit, Canada and Kirkenes, Norway, where they've had the good fortune to spend time with the Sami and the Inuit.

Over this period durational performances were presented in Utsjoki, Iqaluit, Kirkenes and Carmarthen in diverse venues: from school gymnasiums to museums, university theatres to peoples’ homes.
